    Default Geaux4it's Account Talk

New to the forum, but not new to making money. Well, at least in theory.

Thanks Norman- For years been taking the COLA's and rolling them into TSP. Up to 14% and getting that matching to limit Uncle $$$ to boot. I tell the younger kids today plan for 59 1/2. Glad I charged hard at conception of the plan. Ride the wave and forget about election blues.

As always, just my humble opinion.

Still riding 70% I fund. A turnaround is near after the $ reached a 26 year low against the euro but gained on the yen.
Ah, if I really could read my crystal ball.

Missed the boat today in the I fund again. It's done me well and I am just not ready to throw in the towel yet.

Futures look down (-116) minutes from opening. This may get ugly.

The market is in a 'Chicken Little' funk. Like the bigs really needed the Home Buikders Info to react in the market. Unless you have been living under a rock you know that the building industry is taking it in the shorts as part of our housing slump. Duh!

    Geaux

Home builders fell after the companies posted quarterly losses. Beazer Homes USA fell 49 cents, or 2.9%, to 16.55, after it reported a third-quarter net loss of $123 million, or $3.20 a share, compared with earnings of $102.6 million, or $2.37 a share, a year earlier

May have to make a revision on loses. Waiting on Stand-by until Monday or Tuesday next week then will dive into the hopefully warmer waters.

I'm jumping into the deep end for Monday. I suspect tomorrow will be a rollercoaster ride but eventually end up slightly on the plus side. I think everyone may be in a daze. Follow the bouncing ball.

I think the market will be happy to get out of the week with just a slight gain as I mentioned yesterday. Take the weekend to get it's breath, then off to the races Monday. JMHO.

Futures are up to 1465 for Monday as just reported on Bloomberg. A ray of hope?
