Does anyone know how TSP feels about more frequent interfund tranfers? I've read that a lot of fund managers are now restricting people from playing around with their retirement accounts too much. Does anyone see TSP restricting us in the future?

We just changed from monthly to daily transactions a year ago. I can't see them changing the system again real soon. The percentage of people who make frequent transaction is very low from what I read a few months ago, but that number could be rising.
I would encourage people to use the electronic confirmations just in case. Those snail mail confirmations are probably costly and may make them rethink the daily thing.
Good point Tom! I do the eletronic thing myself.
The funds have increased their fees when the switch was made to the the new company. Take advantage of it while you can. I see a $5.00 or something for frequent trades in the future. Sort of like the fee to take a loan that started this year. If a member wants snail mail then they should pay for the process fee not stick the electronic e-mail notification folks. But that is not the way it works out.

Interesting sometimes to go back and read past posts isn't it?
Reading past posts can be enlightening sometimes or sad. I can just continually do that, then suddenly realize, If that's all that you are doing, then you really should be doing better things like learning new things in college or cooking new things. That is unless you are at work getting paid and are just killing time which changes things entirely.
