    Default PokerPlayer's Account Talk

Been 50% S and 50% C since late December, 33, 33, 34 (S, C, I before that since July) and have enjoyed the ride up. Looking for an exit, but when you are moving fast the exit ramps just scream past, too risky to exit now.

    That's funny, but too true.

played on party poker a lot until the Prez. shut it down to US Customers. so since it is now illegal to play on the computer "wink wink - Full Tilt" I don't play on-line much. anyway, the local live card rooms get most of my action

The Poker Player's Alliance on the web is trying to lobby to get on-line poker legal, but I suspect it is a long road yet

I think since the shut-down that the field for the main event WSOP will be significantly smaller since a lot of qualifirers won their seats thru satellites on line.

Also since the .net versions of online poker sites are not gambling sites, look for them to offer various promotions to get a seat. I think Absolutepoker.net is starting one this week. I'm sure it involves wining 2-3 freeroll tournies but if you got the time, like to play then it would seem worth it.

I agree, I also think the field will be significantly smaller this year (~25% down is my prediction). I like the freerolls, but they just take so darn long to play and I don't normally have that kind of time. And I actually like the live hands better than the tournaments, more money can be made in a shorter time IMO.

I also think winning a 12K entry (tourney + expenses) into the WSOP still violates the intent of the Executive Order, Party Poker also shut down all freerolls to US customers ... they will take no action other than where no $$ exchanges hands
