Created Budnipper1 account on 2/10/07. Did not read that an "Account Talk" is also required until minutes ago, so here it is. (Sorry for the delay.) Made my first IFT since creating account today.

Thanks nnuut...I really could use some "luck" to improve my past track record. At least, I got off on the right foot today. Now, if I could just muster up more courage to buy in with larger percentages. Still shell-shocked from those bad years a while ago. At 59, I don't have enough time to make up for all the losses, but some of the folks on this site have given me new hope!

Retreated back to 100% G today. Wish I had a better reason with some "original" thoughts, but basically I'm just playing follow-the-leader(s) for now. I hear you, nnuut...be smart or get clobbered!

Previously, G-60/F-20/I-20 since 2/21
Not pushing my luck with I-fund for another day.
I'll get back in it after it goes south.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it...

Thanks... St Augustine, FL - (January, 2006) - passed through there on the way home from Ft. Lauderdale. Nearly froze my "funds" off !

Well, South it went. So I moved my 40% F to I for today's COB. Not planning to leave it there over this weekend unless something really big convinces me otherwise.

40% I

Not sure why I chose these percentages today, except to spread it across a wider field. Surprisingly, it did OK for this roller coaster market. I need to settle down and breathe for a while.

Anybody want to guess who said this...

Have plenty of cash.
Be patient.
Never panic.
Buy when others are selling.
Diversify.
And, one last time, be patient. Do you think Warren Buffett was selling last week?

Made IFT at 10:59 AM CDT, but time posted to Budnipper1's Account displays 10:00 AM ??? My computer clock was updated to the new time yesterday.

Moved to 50% I-fund today,following Ebb's chart. Leaving 50 in G.

Others mentioned problems accessing the TSP website today, but it worked ok for me at 10:45 AM CDT.
