I am leaning towards going 100% in I Fund for Fridayand Monday,based on being a bullish on the yen after the G-7 meeting. It seems everyone thinks the opposite. Rememer the G-fund pays out .09% Monday. Will post my decision later. Ty

Just a note... much discussion has been devoted to timing the penny, and even though the theory sounds great, most have found the actual positive result to be elusive, in addition to being out of the market on days that would have produced greater gains in equities.

In other words, pursuing the penny as a strategy alone does not seem to be a strong enough strategy to justify being out of stocks alone... However, it does seem to support G over F fund allocations, at times anyway.

I believe I posted something simliar to that in the I fund chat room. There are times not to chase the penny because you feel there is apostive day ahead.

I think that the overseas markets will bounce back along with the Yen. If I am correct,I will go 100% G Fund for Monday, to grab the .09%. We shall see

Welcome. I see your getting it figured out and leaning the ropes on where to post your TSP transactions moves. The "12% a year Account" you created in the Members Account forum is where you post all IFT moves. You created this account, and made entry to 100% I, too late (1:17 pm) to be counted for today. I will enter you into the Weekly Tracker for tomorrow’s COB fund prices. As of now, you are set for 100% I on Feb 9th COB.

I cannot count the entry in your “12%ayear’s Account Talk” thread (100% G) or the below quoted entry you made in "350Z’s I Fund Thread-Feb". In this thread, 350zCommTech did inform you at 10:54 am that you needed to enter the IFT in your account thread. Sorry, there are no exceptions. Chalk it up to learning the ropes. The entry must be in your "12%ayear’s Account" to make it into the TSPTalk Weekly Tracker.
