I see no reason to gamble on the markets reaction to the FOMC today. If the USM's sell off this afternoon the OSM's could follow tomorrow. Gonna sit on the lilly pad another day or two.

I'm dabbling with about 20%, but keeping most of the powder dry. I think we are moving sideways before we head back down, unless we get some real bad news. I still think a bigger correction is coming our way. I hear you guys are having some warm weather out there in Ok. Are you getting the boat ready for the water?

I agree. I am looking for another downward move also. The weather here has been nice. Yesterday was 81 deg but the wind was blowing 35 mph. My boat is in a wet slip and I have been sailing. The problem is our lake level is horrible. Need some rain bad. Another foot and I wont be able to get out of the harbor. Thinking about putting it on the trailor and waiting to see if conditions improve. If not I will be trailoring this summer to different lakes. I still have the catamarans that I can sail from the beach..

Go to the lilly pad and maybe that BP will come down. I see you and alot of others are going into the snake pit. I dont feel real good about jumping in right now but look at all the big gains I missed out on last week. I guess that's just the way it goes when you want to be a swinger. Maybe I need to take someones advice. " Be right and sit tight " I dont remember who said it... Goodluck in the Snake Pit.

Sorry to hear about your lake level. Is it lack of rain or is the Corps draining the swamp? They have a tendency to do things like that just when you want to put your boat in the water. I'll be glad to see this market quiet down a "little". Seems like a fat chance given Irania mania and our natioanl housing woes. I don't get how lender can make 100% home loan to people with inadequate incomes. Fnd those dudes and send em to Guantanamo... I's still mostly G with a few market nibbles.

There is a answer to your question. We have a member, though inactive, would have loved that question. His Login was teknobucks. He was market savy and a heck of a nice guy. However, he was very suspicious when it came to the federal reserve and money. Try googling: creature from jekyll island.

Actually it's lack of rain and water mis-management. But I think they will think twice before they let the level get that low again because they have caught hell from alot of people. Were getting some nice rains now so it's getting better.

I want to buy back into stocks but I am waiting for another move downward. I am tired of the lilly pad but I have to be patient...

The book looks interesting. I'll have to see where I can get a used copy. Once I read em I pitch em...so paperbacks work just fine..
