Well, I was kickin myself this time yesterday for staying in, now I'm thankin God that I did stay in.

A couple weeks ago, I booked a percent loss, got out thinkin it was 'the big one' we've been waiting for.

Stayed on the sidelines as we retraced that one day loss.

Now, for a 3 day weekend.

Was going to go to the F fund for Friday, but decided to let it ride.

Gonna take what I hope end up being nice profits through today. Going to the F fund based on the following: '

Back from doing Ride The Rockies, a 400+ mile bike ride through the Colorado mountains.

Still parked in the F fund. Looks like it was an ok place to be over the last week.

Haven't had a chance to look at anything since my return, so I'll plan to stand pat for now.

Ya know, I was gone all last week, riding a bike through the mountains of Colorado.

At the time, I was so wrapped up in surviving the ride, I hadn't trained enough and had only planned to play the role of sherpa, that I didn't appreciate how great it was to get away from it all.

Since being back, I've heard about a man in Ohio who killed his wife and kids, how a pregnant mother was killed, how some nutjob with tatoos all over his face killed a guard, how Chris Benoit killed his wife and 7yr old son, then a day or two later killed himself, and today on CNN saw video of a motorist that was just sprayed with pepper spray pull a gun out and kill the officer that sprayed him.

WHAT IN THE WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS IS GOING ON?!

toooo many drugs perhaps i still cant believe someone could kill there child there wife i could almost believe them talking about it but not really doing it makes you wonder how close are we to the end . i want the lord on my side carry me thru my time here

Was going to go 30-30-40 c-s-i, but have decided to go 50-25-25 c-s-i instead.

IF the market pops this afternoon, we would probably end up with a +FV in the I, which wouldn't be ideal to buy into.

IF things selloff, having more in the C 'might' cushion the blow.

Hmm,
I'm thinking about the C fund, but for totally different reasons apparently. I'm hearing a lot about small caps popping today and there's a good chance of a +FV today which would make it a good day to sell the I fund before the FV correction tomorrow. I was thinking that if S and I explode today, it will spill over into C for tomorrow. But you're also right about the buffer, so C is looking pretty attractive.
