    Very good day indeed!.

My GBTC closed at $415. Extremely overvalued, BUT GBTC is the only way to put Bitcoin in your IRA until an ETF is approved. And right now everyone wants a part of history.

Bitcoin is making me very happy. I wish I could have some in my TSP!

I'll be back in the G fund with 100% on COB Monday, June 5. Hopefully we can get one more up day tomorrow. The futures are down tonight. I would be happy with a flat day tomorrow or even a few tenths of a percent loss I made some good gains in the last two weeks and hopefully can lock them in before the traditional June weak period starts.

Still trading my Bitcoin stocks and am loving watching my Bitcoins value rise. Super bullish on Bitcoin right now.

Futures are down pretty good this morning and I am back to the safety of the G Fund. Very happy with my last IFT.

Bitcoin is hitting all time highs ($2,940) as I write this. My $1430's are looking very nice!

In my Roth IRA, I sold my GBTC too early, but feel it is over valued with a 130% premium over NAV. I will be looking for re-entry when it drops to 50% over NAV, if that happens.
Also had GAHC and sold it too early as well. The run it has had the last two trading days is just crazy!
But, a profit is a profit. Made 20% in GAHC and 100% in GBTC.
Also sold my ORC for a small profit.

I am 100% cash in my Roth right now just waiting for some kind of buying opportunity in the Bitcoin/Blockchain Sector. There are so few plays and all of them are on fire at this time.

    Watch list includes:
    BTCUSD
    GBTC
    GAHC
    BTSC

The other Bitcoin/Blockchain plays are really just trash and shell companies, but can work for quick flips and they include:
    BITCF
    BTCS
    CCTL
    CNXS

Just wanted to stop by and thank you for posting about Bitcoin. I have heard about it for years, but never really thought much about it, but for some reason when I read your post I decided to research it. After reading and watching a video about Bitcoin, I finally have a basic understanding of what it is and how it works and I found it fascinating. The idea of electronic funds being "invented", a tracking mechanism opened up to anyone and a funding mechanism created to pay those who track Bitcoin, with value being solely dependent by demand, is genius. I'm still stuck on the one negative of the company who controls the "wallet" possibly mismanaging the BC they hold, such as MtGox did in 2014, but overall it's amazing what the creators came up with.

So by investing in Bitcoin, are you just buying and selling Bitcoin(s)?

You are very welcome. I am pretty excited about the possibilities of Bitcoin/Blockchain and love to spread the word. The people that get in early stand to make a lot of money. Blockchain alone can change everything. Recently Walmart tested Blockchain for their inventory and were "very pleased" with the results.

So to answer your question I am buying Bitcoin but not selling it. I bought most of mine at $1430 and a little more up to $1800. I plan to hold my Bitcoin for a LONG time and whenever Bitcoin stabilizes I will just spend it. By then all the stores will take it and since I'm just spending it there will be no Capitol Gains taxes to pay.

Also look into Blockchain (the thing that makes Bitcoin transactions work). It can be used for Elections, inventory, commerce, anything and everything. Blockchain will be 10 times bigger than the internet one day.

I'd like to 2nd the thanks. I'd heard some great explanations of blockchain on Financialsense.com and 3 weeks ago today decided to take the plunge and I bought 1.0000 bitcoin from coindesk, price was $1972 plus a $29 commission. I did it mostly for entertainment, but what sold me is that the supply remains so constrained, and meanwhile the interest in digital currencies worldwide is going parabolic (there are about to me more "wallets" than their are bitcoins, so it's already down to about one per person at this point), which is why the prices are going parabolic. I don't know about the prediction a few days about $100,000 bitcoin, but I could imagine $10,000 in a few years if not sooner. It's fun to watch, but until the gyrations slow down I can't see it being used as a currency yet, mostly just speculative gambling for now.
By the way, Google taxes on digital currencies and you'll see that the IRS has issued a ruling that gains/losses are to be handled just like stocks...but since (I think) their are no forms submitted to the IRS by whoever you buy it from, I can't see how it could be policed at all.

Forgot to mention that I bought GBTC at $400 in my personal Roth again last week. (All in) It closed at $459 today and looks like tomorrow is going to be another good day. Bitcoin is having a good run tonight and I don't see it slowing down for awhile with all the good news out there.

I have been wanting to get back into GAHC but it just wont pull back enough to suit me.

Sold GBTC today for a 7% gain. The snafu with GDAX/Coinbase causing the flash in ETH yesterday has spooked the crypto market for the short term I think. I am waiting for a lower entry point back into GBTC.

Bought GBTC again today in my Roth IRA at $388. Looks like the hard fork issue for Bitcoin has been resolved for now. I fully expect Bitcoin to hit $4000 by the end of the month. Assuming GBTC can keep a 50% premium over NAV that will put it at $600 minimum. Also made a nice trade on TRTC last week. In at .23 and out yesterday at .29

Sold my GBTC today at $547.25. I will be waiting for re-entry on any pullback in the premium to NAV.

I have more than doubled my Roth this year already and am loving trading GBTC.

I am still waiting for a pullback in the markets to move my TSP money back in. Just riding the G Fund for now. I wish we could hold Bitcoin in our TSP!

Thanks! I almost made a mistake. It came to within $2 of an ATH today. ($563)

I bought it back today at $543 when it had a mid day dip. It closed at $560 so I am glad I was able to catch the dip. I have a gut feeling that alot of money is going to be coming out of these markets and going into Bitcoin in the next few weeks.
