It's going to be an interesting weekend. What will China do (if anything) to address their bubble and what will happen in Greece? As for Greek leader Tsiparis, he appears to love his picture in the press but I'm tired of looking at it. IMHO, Next week will be 3-6% one way or the other....

Glad I am only 20% into the S Fund. If things go bad, I'm ok with it. But if things go well...Hmm I still have an IFT left for June.

Looks like we may have a 'bloody Monday'.

Greece imposes capital controls as crisis deepens

"Greece moved to check the growing strains on its crippled financial system on Sunday, closing its banks and imposing capital controls that brought the prospect of being forced out of the euro into plain sight."

"Banks will be closed and the stock market shut all week, and there will be a daily 60 euro limit on cash withdrawals from cash machines, which will reopen on Tuesday. Capital controls are likely to last for many months at least."

Greece is in the news masking what is happening in China.

    Is the 'perfect storm' brewing?

Today is one of those days where you wished the TSP had more options for TSP-ers, such as Forex. If you can't make money in the stock or bond markets; look to commodities or currency. Today would have been a good currency day I think.

The media seems to be largely obsessed with Greece at the moment but IMHO China is the 800lb gorilla that needs to be watched closely.

Apologies to those in the I-fund but I hope it keeps sliding for awhile. If there's a Greek settlement it could really move up quick. Anyone got a good crystal ball I could borrow?

Hmmm.... All TSP stock funds are down lately and eventually the EU and Greece will reach an agreement.
Maybe this is an Oct/2014 type opportunity?
