Yes I have heard that before. I have also heard that of the best six months, February is the weakest. So I am hanging on, in the hopes that what usually happens actually does. Just opened a new box of sticky pants and have a full pallet in reserve. Of course, there is no telling how long this tariff talk will negatively effect the market. For now I am taking a wait and see approach, but if it continues next week I may need to exit.

As for how I got 90 some spots ahead of you, it's because I am only 50% invested. On an up day, you whipsaw ahead of me. On a down day you whipsaw back behind.

So I have been thinking about you this week, had an image in my head of you and konakathy basking in the sun, sipping mai tai's and laughing at us mainlanders as we deal with all this wonderful weather. But I guess those thoughts are all wet, but still it's paradise...

Thanks RF, I didn't do any basking but did hike the old Pali Highway from the lookout. Scary to think cars would drive that... and the Paradise Cove Luau was big fun, really good music and Hawaiian style dance As for the markets, looking for a good rally to sell... this tariff stuff could get dicey.

Two up days in a row...nice comeback after the disaster we had last week. A few more days like this and I will be ready to hit the sell button.

FWIW, February low for the S&P was 2581.00, for DWCPF 1285.08 and for EFA 68.30. If we revisit the lows, those are the targets...

Thought about an exit today, especially after four consecutive down days. A check of the daily charts said get out now. But the weekly charts look very promising, so I'll hang in a little bit longer.
