Depends upon your position and risk tolerance, check out the Grok trade video... SNP rising wedge is bearish and could break down, but it could break out. Somewhat of a gamble... Does today's action break the wedge to the upside? Check out FS's thread too...

Looks like a follow through of Friday's closing rally. The real question is will this be sustained into today's close. I'm expecting the day to be more volatile than that and we have to decide by noon. I don't like exiting on volatile days like that because you never know what you are going to end up with.

Coming into a seasonally weak week and I still have 2 IFTs. I think we are due for a correction. Couple charts at the verge of a break one way or another.

the eagle has landed. i haven't opened it yet, just the package is a thing of beauty, a joy and a wonder to behold. i don't know what you did in your past gov life, but pretty sure it involved attention to detail, control of logistics, and ensuring safe delivery of requested items/services. nicely done.

i did use your suggestion... when the gals in the office asked "what did you get?" i pointed to the "J&P Cycles, parts, accessories, and apparel" box markings and said "oh, this must be my new leather chaps".

they all immediately turn and walk away, know where i'll go with it if they ask more. got me figured out by now.

i may wait for a special occasion to sip some, maybe last tsptalk poker game of the season this sunday.

OMG burro, that is absolutely hilarious. I haven't laughed like that in a long time. I am glad everything worked out and you were able to have a little fun with the packaging and some of the gals in your office. Hopefully they won't ask you don the chaps and show them off.

As for what I did in my past gov't life, you hit the nail on the head. I started my career as a packaging specialist shipping airplane parts all over the world. Eventually, I became the Installation Traffic Manager and was responsible for the movement of personnel and equipment in support of deployment operations. So yes, Logistics and attention to detail is ingrained in my soul.

When you finally do crack that bottle, you will have to let me know if it met your expectations and how you like it.

Take care and enjoy your evening!

    Raven out!

So how often does the futures in the morning correlate to the market close? Looks like all TSP funds are currently positive.

I would have to say almost never as futures is a preview of what may happen when markets open. Futures down, market usually starts the day down, futures up, market usually starts the day up. Of course it doesn't always happen that way as I have seen markets go opposite of futures more times than I can count. With that said, I would never enter the market based on what futures are saying...
