What are you really saying then? Tom has spent a HUGE amount of his time on this site, getting all of us together so we could ALL benefit and understand things better, not to mention his gov't job he keeps up with plus his art studio.

If this is a preview of what you will be contributing, maybe you should NOT post and keep your little "opposite" strategy to yourself. Just remember, when you think you have it all figured out, THAT''S when the market will humble you. Let's keep things positive. Peace out.

I said what i meant. No foul intended. That's simply my strategy. If you don't like my strategy, you are entitled to criticize it. But to try to shut someone up because you don't agree with them? I don't think that is the best idea either. Just my 2 cents.

Intentional or not, your post comes across as quite rude to Tom. Tom is a great mentor to many, including me, who otherwise would be completely ignorant about investing in their TSP accounts. Not that I follow him all the time, but I always respect his opinion and his thorough analysis in his daily Market Talk. Disrespecting Tom will not win you any friends around here.

Well said Neirbod, I don't necessarily always agree either, but he has taught me a lot as well and I appreciate what he has done and continues to do "on his own time".Tom especially deserves respect.

Thanks for posting. We've always emphasized posting your strategy here so others may learn from them. We also encouraged people to post their moves so that we can verify the validity of their claims.. How about posting your moves before the deadline so that I can track it and be able to prove to others your theory.Fundsurfer usually uploads the monthly return of each posters so that we can see who is doing well, in hope that we can learn from their moves.

I really would like to see your return at the end of the year. I'm sure others feel the same way. :^

Nah, I'm just wondering where my own secret contrary indicator has gotten off to these days. VirginiaBob don't take offense from the recent scoldings, as a matter of fact Tom is probably delighted you are using him as a contrary indicator - at least you are using your brain and have a strategy. The market cycles take time to develope and over time Tom may end up correct in his own strategy. As an investor one has to blaze the trails alone - it's your money. Just remember there are no refunds when you feel the hammer - try and have fun. Take care,

& I thing a lot of people apreciate that ,more
than been right all of the time.I believe every
body have his up and his down . But the fight
