Does Mercury in Retrograde coincide with the moon phases this month? Didn't TSPIntel track that? Haven't seen him post in a while...

Ignore the emails and phone, tell the boss to come back after lunch. No, I don't do that either. I have to stop eating at my desk where my lunch usually ends up cold and unappetizing.

My worst IFT interruption occurred once when I rushed back to my desk to make an IFT before the Noon deadline only to be greeted by my boss telling me I had to leave right now for a random drug test. OUCH! Missing that IFT by a day cost me over 1%.

Interfund-Transferrus Interuptus! A terrible thing... On the road this week with no access to a workstation during the day. Withdrawal symptoms appearing - distant stare , restlessness , muttering '*&%@!! market' under my breath...

    DCB today, maybe?

Not being able to submit an IFT when you want to is always a bummer. Hopefully it is a blessing in disguise as August and September are the two worst performing months. If you are lucky, you may just save yourself some pain while you are out of pocket...

So travel interfered with any moves last week, with a nice low set up for this weeks highs... at any rate, C fund appears to be in another rising wedge at the upper trend line, and the S fund looks to be hitting its head against its same resistance line it has topped out at 4 or 5 times now. Its a wait and see if the wedge breaks down, resistance holds. Hmmmmmm....

Hmmmmmm.... inverted H&S on the S-fund (thanks Bquat), I'm seeing a rising wedge in the C-fund... is the trade turbulence priced in? Nice pop today for those who caught it.

So much for the pop, unless lucky enough to bail on a 1 day trade =:-o

Now a string of lower highs and lower lows... with fairly good bounces today for both C and S.

    Still watching...

The up-down action continues; what still stands out to me is the downward trend of lower highs and lower lows; esp on the S fund. I think this is a negative, anyone with thoughts on this pattern?

FWIW, Grok put a buy on Small Caps; RSOTC is looking for a correction in conjunction with recent US Dollar strength.

Hi Whipsaw, The Bollinger bands are narrowing. So looks like a big move coming... one way or the other. Not sure which. The June, July and August highs on S charts are in the same resistance zone... not telling when it will punch through. China's economy in trouble... will they blink? But even if they do blink, when will their woes impact the world?

I am trying to be cautious. I think my increase this month is maybe around .75. I am thinking maybe I should be conservative and pocket that while I can ..still digging out of my hole this year without much success but at one time I was down 8% and now at around -5.34 or so? So I am likely going to exit today. It may not be the best day to exit as we often have drops at end of day on Friday, but oh well... I am only in 25%C right now, Mexico and China talks could be positive next week and then maybe not. I hear talking heads talking in both directions... some say stay long and others indicate there is too much greed out there. Economy is humming along but we are in a 10 year bull run... Is it getting tired or overly confident? I do not know. Apple is at all time high and I noticed the financial sector was up yesterday, which is often important in impacting market

Here are some charts from a few mins ago. lots of MACDs... lol... just studying which one or two I am going to follow. The first one is used by Grok, the second is the one I started using a week or so ago... still studying it. the next one (3,10,16) is used by Coolhand, the forth one is the Default MACD and the last one is what I think was recommended in a MSTRZERG millionaires strategy. Grok is good but its so small on the histogram that its hard to see... I am probably going to use Grok, my new one (5,9,9) and default.... at least for awhile. Best Wishes to you and everyone!!!!!

Here are some charts. They almost look the same... lol Also... hope your eyes don't go cross-eyed... you've been warned! lol....
