Well if you went with the trend on autotracker, more than half of the folks moved to the G fund today and that tells me there is not much confidence among the rank and file. But there is a lot of optimism the health care bill and tax reform gets done soon, especially with the Senate's announcement that they would delay their August recess until the middle of the month. If either of those get done, cha ching...

I saw that, was tempted... seasonality supports strong through Tuesday, if we're up from here to Friday I'm thinking I'll take profits on Friday. Some of today's pop may be due to the CNX of the August recess. So, yes, if our illustrious representatives can get their collective $#!+ together...

Yeah I've got an exit decision to make as well. I will be out of pocket from the 14th through the 23rd of July. Taking a trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC with my HOG Chapter, and yes I'll be riding the entire trip...no trailer queen here.

I don't like being invested while I'm away and not able to track of the markets or process an IFT if needed. So I'll either exit in the morning or wait until after the noon cut off to make the IFT effective COB Friday.

Funny thing though, as of yesterday I was exactly in the same spot I was in when I entered this trade. 0% gain/loss since I entered on 29 June...Go figure

Those dates coincide with the weakness on the seasonality chart, good to go. Sounds like a fun ride, did P'cola to Talladega speedway on a Sportster for the HD rally in '88, that was a great time.

So the question has to be, do you still ride, and if not, why not?

Going long and riding through the weakness may be a consideration, with Janet's latest words the seasonal weakness may be muted. Briefing.com says the market has just shifted into 'Drive.' https://www.briefing.com/investor/ou...into-drive.htm

Oh, wait, you mean RIDE... not anymore, I sold the Sportster in 1990 as I was about to get hitched, I almost got killed 3 times trying to ride in Virginia Beach, seemed like a good idea at the time. Of course, the Harley-Davidson craze hit the next week; in hindsight it was a stupid move. A city dweller now, so not likely in the future, but if so I'd get an Indian. A '93 Bronco, 351W, is my current distraction.

I can certainly relate. You've got to have your head on a swivel with all the distractions these days. But your story is very similar to mine. I sold my Honda back in 76 to get hitched. Then it wasn't until 2005 before I bought another bike, an Electra glide Classic that I proudly call "Big Red" after Peg Bundy from Married with Children.

As for the markets, as much as it pains me, I will exit to the G fund today. No sense in getting greedy, but I still have an IFT left to re-enter when I get back from my trip. Hold the fort down and don't let anything crazy happen while I am gone...

That has to be the worst article on the TSP I've ever seen. The funds he uses to compare the G and F funds to are just plain wrong, totally bogus information. Investment U gets an F grade from me.

Stepping aside on what looks like will be a strong up day, at the top of the trading channels, at resistance, near term open gaps below, and ahead of the seasonal weakness approaching. Still bullish... Booking profits, making for a good weekend. 12 mo. PIP at ~ 8%, not too shabby.

IFT 100% G COB - 1st IFT for July, looking to move back in at a future low point... Happy Friday everyone!

Markets are poised and primed for new highs, apparently, earnings are good... political uncertainty moving the market, two steps forward, one step back...

One step back please, so I can jump back in!
