Futures are UP!
I've been disappointed in the small caps lagging of late, but am holding tight going into the Santa Rally as they should out perform, based in part on this assessment from our own Rev Shark (at the end, I think he's referring to small caps and not bitcoin):

Happy New Year everyone! Here's to a successful and fulfilling year wishing everyone many happy returns! While I didn't crush my returns this past year, not disappointed at at all either. Looking for continued growth this year with the tax cuts going through. I thought I was in a good spot on the tracker, then another 1500 or so players were added in! :-/ My Personal Investment Performance (PIP) for the past 12 months ending 11/30/2017 is 12.85%.

Starting to get a little torqued at the S-Fund... looking at shifting over to the C, but not sure I want to burn the IFT.

Same here. Took a hit in 2017 when I jumped around a little. Finally stayed in "S".
May the force be with us.
C fund is pushing at the upper bollinger band and may be due for a breather... will stay put for now but still will likely split between C and S.

Sometimes you just got to dance with the girl you came to the prom with. Case in point. I changed my allocation to a 60% I fund, 40% S fund mix towards the end of December. So far this year, the I fund has been the laggard, 0.37% gain year to date. But today, it looks to be in the lead. I won't really know until it goes through all it's gyrations this evening and spits out a final closing price, but right now it's looking pretty good. I want to stand pat at least until the jobs report comes out tomorrow.
Schools closed in my neck of the woods today, so I'm enjoying an extra day off!!! Woohoo!
