I guess I need another pair of sticky pants... tomorrow should be a wild ride. But hoping the markets will get over it!! I must say, it seems just insane that the market drops on that type of news.

I wonder for people who can jump in and out at will swings like these must be a great opportunity

Yep the "S" fund is doing it's thing. Still going to stick it out at 40/30/30 C/S/I. I made a move early last year out of the "S" fund and it didn't pan out so went back to 100% "S". Never caught up to where I would have been if I hadn't made the move. Hopefully C&I will pick up the pace a little bit and then I can decide what to do. If this trade BS continues the only safe place may be G&F. Then I will have to admit defeat and a nice loss for the year.
May the force be with us.

Be careful with F fund...at least shirt term. I had to keep 20% in G fund reserve...just in case. S fund looks ready to break out upward, but importantly I understand it would not be as harmed as C fund due to steel and aluminum tariffs. Will see how it goes...keeping fingers crossed!!

Best wishes to you Nasa, and to everyone!!!!!!!

Thanks for your comments. I do see the strength in S fund as well. Will ride the S for now. Jobs report and tariff on my mind this week. I believe there is a report on Friday...so will be looking closely at daily stock market gyrations.

Moved 85% F 15% G last week, as I am anticipating with a possible BEAR market starting that the F will move at least 8% for the year since it has been so under for some time. Stoxx600 could also be something up and coming but need to get past all of the European turmoil.

Today the F fund is finally starting to do what I thought it should.

hi yesterday, not sure we are entering a bear market. I tend to think it's a ways off, but there definitely could be some short term weakness, and lots of volatility.

Here is weekly F Fund chart.

Still favoring the S Fund !!!! . While DOW is down right now 145 pts, the DWCPF (S fund) is up a bit at +.16%. Also, I am slowly digging out of my hole...I briefly thought about reducing exposure but with chart looking this god decided to hang on.

So what happens tomorrow with the CPI numbers coming out??

    Best wishes to all!!!!!!!

Deciding to book some earnings ...reducing exposure and moving to be more weighted in C fund. Just not decided how much yet. Thinking to reduce from 80% to 40 or 50%. Will see...

CPI numbers good this morning and market rallied a little and then came down. S (-.22) and C (.08) funds are down a bit right now. Not a lot...hope it breaks to upside tomorrow.

Reduced and reallocated: 40C, 10 S, 50G. Now that feels better... Booked a little but still playing.

C fund looks better..all sloped up plus more room overhead to grow (plenty above before it hits major resistance) while S fund is closer to hitting its resistance. Hoping everything breaks upward!! Reduced exposure only to reduce the little I've dug out of hole. Yep...a bit too conservative but that's the way it has to be for awhile......

Next Tue/Wed FOMC meeting and likely interest rate fear will lift its ugly head as Fed meets.
