Wow...100th post...Thanks! I just don't post much even to my own account thread.
I just noticed the time lag from 10/2012 to today. Have you been away, or just don't post much to your own account talk (like me!)? Anyway, when you answer me , it will be your 100th post. So...premature congratulation!!

Here are links to many indicators generated from my Excel file incorporating today's closing values:
AGG (F Fund equivalent)
EFA (I Fund equivalent)
^GSPC (C Fund equivalent)
Here are today's charts:
^GSPC
AGG
EFA
Does anyone know of a site where one could view/download historical quotes for an S fund equivalent ticker symbol? Yahoo does not provide historical quotes for ^DWCPF or ^W4500? I need open, high, low, close, and volume data on a daily basis going back preferably to 02 June 2003.
Here's one for those tracking NUGT
Still holding a position in the I Fund. Here the updated file including various technical indicators for EFA. Many of these indicators are now positive which should be a relief for those holding for the last few months.
Updated charts incorporating today's I Fund action. Also added a trigger line to the QStick indicator.
Added the following technical indicators:
- NVI
- PVI
- QStick
- UI
Here is the updated file incorporating today's closing values using EFA as the input ticker symbol. With 34 technical indicators, interpretation of the results and usefulness of what each offers can seem overwhelming due to too many gauges presently sitting on the dashboard. On the to-do-list is to better organize, rack and stack them.
It's been a while since I updated my own account thread...
I finally got off my lazy duff, removed my personal transactions and added some dummy transaction data so I could share my workbook with others. I spent a long time putting together all of the worksheets, formulas, etc. and made sure that everything is calculated properly without using named ranges, macros, etc. It's saved as an Excel binary file, does web queries for ticker price data, has almost 40 technical indicators where variables for each can be manipulated while graphics are updated on the fly, has a one year sliding window range for technical indicators and does not have a lot of fluff/overhead. The file itself is ~3MB so it is not that large however, if the share price data was extracted and referenced from a database, then the file size would be much smaller.
Here is a link to a PDF showing the technical indicators worksheet that displays the action of EFA up to today's closing prices.
Here is a link to download the TSP Tracker Excel binary file itself. For the worksheets, green tabs never need updating, yellow tabs require updating yearly and red tabs require updating whenever there is a change/update needed (e.g., new closing prices or transactions made). Let me know if you have any questions/suggestions.
This is great! Thank you for the data file and worksheet!

Not a problem...Happy to share. Let me know if you have any questions about the worksheets or formulas. I'd also be interested in suggestions. One thing I have not figured out is how to adjust the scaling on some of the charts to adjust automatically without the use of macros. When the align is set to auto, it seems to zoom too far out on the charts.
