I want to explain my move today. The S is dropping and I thought if there was a short play it would be possibly tomorrow. If your following my moves I am purchasing back S at a lower cost and repositioning. I will have more shares and still be in stocks at open on Tuesday. The chart in S does not look good and this play possibly goes against a lot of the traders on the board and considered dangerous but everyone plays different. I fund has been steadly going up and appears to be the better stock at the moment, that I have no doubt. One day of hesitation can cost you when your playing short as it cost me last week.

Cowboy: From what I have seen is 3 consecutive days down hard gets you the rebound, not always but a simple plot of share prices show it.

I moved back to stocks this morning due to the recent slide (only 2 days) but at 9:00 this morning I saw what i thought was son real strength at 1198, good volume and it tested it 3 times, well tha slide started up big after that and I am afraid I got in one day early, but still not a bad entry point even if it dips from here. I chose the C because of interest rates rising due to inflation numbers.

Time will tell I sure hope I don't give back the 2% I earned this month.

Yes, you could be early but I figure if I gain 1% in one day of trading it is worth the chance. The market could go down all week but it may take it all in one day and give it back for the next two, nobody really knows. The move I made is not for the faint of heart. I also look at it this way I had entered last week at 14.53 a share now it looks like I can enter at 142?. Sold on Friday for a small loss but could gain it all back tomorrow or the next day or lose it. It's called risk! I also will take a loss in the F fund too today! I am not afraid to play long on this either as I was buying less shares two weeks ago for my money. Good luck to you!

If the four economic reports come out bad on Monday he will look like a genious. However if they come in good then yields will go up and the F fund will go down. At least the F fund will not drop .15 in one day. So that is a good risk to take. I was thinking of that. However, I wanted to get over to G to catch the sure .01 on Tuesday.

Based on the pattern of G fund. It should pay the .01 on Tuesday. I want to get the sure then and be back in G on Monday. I figure the internationalswill rally on Monday on the U.S. market rally. So, I am "hoping" to catch a gain in I fund, catch the G fund .01 and watch the 17 economic reports being dumped on us.

Does that make sense, Mac? This is what you got to do in markets like this. Try to get what you can without putting your neck out to far.

OK I see your logic, you should really start a thread with your "account talk" and re-name your thread for posting your moves current account is not correct, It should be "Dr. Dubious account" and "Dr. Dubious account talk"

Thanks for answering that for me Dr. Dubious. I think you answered it better than I could ever have. Whyare you guysassuming that I am someone else. You know what assume does, it makes an ass u me. I am my own investor and I like to keep my identity, please. I have an account guys, and some people asked me to open an account talk so I did. As they were wondering what I was doing and why. I trade a lot on my TSP if you have not noticed in my Cowboy account probably more than I should. I been short trading heavily lately.

I am all F for Monday. Please don't mistake me for someone else on the board.
