Sick of the up/down the last two weeks. Off next week and TSP closed half the week. Burnt the IFT in June to save 2 for July.

100% G Fund COB 13 March 2020
100% S Fund. Should have never put half in I fund to begin with. Hasn't out done S Fund in a decade, don't know what I was thinking.
100% G Fund COB 13 March 2020
I believe the “I” find outperformed the “S” fund last year.
Statistically the I fund does extremely well in April and is the place to be this time of year, and in fact that seasonality usually starts in mid-March and lasts into late April or early May. Here's the data over the last 10, 20, and 30 years comparing the C, S, and I funds. (prior to 2000 this uses the MSCI index as a proxy for the I fund and the Wilshire 4500 for the S fund). % Pos means the number of months over that time period that were positive, and CAR is the Compound Annual Return. I have no idea why the I fund does so well in April (and July and December are it's other strong months), perhaps the dollar tends to be weak this time of year.
