    Default Introduction

    Hello all:
I wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking around for a few months trying to read and understand.

    A bit about me:
I am 30 years old and have been working for the government for 3 years. I invest in TSP every PP, but until the last few months have been 100% G. Thanks to this board, I am now starting to test the waters a bit, I wish I had found this place three years ago.

I hope to contribute one day but have have many questions so I will continue to ready and enjoy the post for now.

    Regards
    Seth

    Welcome jeepcj258 Seth,

It is good to take responsibility for your money and where it is invested.

TSP is one of the best investment vehicles I know of other than the 2 IFT

Limit Restriction and that was one huge change for the worse IMO. It really makes it hard to know when to be in or out of equities.

I have had many Jeeps over the past 16 years, and still have the very first one I bought, 1980 Cj5 ( my first car purchase). It had a 258 cyl when i bought it, put a 360 in it a couple years later. I don't mess with jeeps much any more but the one above is almost like a member of the family.

Welcome, Seth. I started reading Tom's daily's about 3 years ago-joined about 2 years ago. Saved me a bucket of money so far-which in this market is a GOOD thing. I've learned more here in 3 years than I did the preceding 20, so you're in the right place at the right time for the long haul. good gear-grinding to you.
