Default New Kid on the block

Hey everyone, just starting out here. I have been lurking and watching for a while and am ready to get it going. I am not ashamed to admit my ignorance with the market and how it works so I will be watching and listening closely to all your suggestions.

Love the avitar ! Welcome home !
My thoughts of future market events are strictly my gut feelings and have nothing
to do with actual knowledge or experience concerning the Stock Market or Investing.

Thanks guys I feel like a kid in the toystore. I just got my pin in the mail and can play with it.

It was like that ROYCO turkey machine, set it and forget it.

UGH I had for some reason 85% 2040 and 15% I for the past 2 years. I guess I got some making up to do....

One question just to make sure i don't do something stupid. If I change my funds tonight so say G and C will it take effect tomorrow or will it start at COB tomorrow? I think I understand it to mean changes will take place now at COB on Friday and I don't think it will hold up over the weekend so..

shall I keep it as is and change it before Noon to close out with 100% in G

Or am I reading the process incorrectly???

    Thanks for explaining this.

    Think positive...at least you didn't hold 100% I-fund for those 2 years.

Any fund transfer request made before noon (eastern time) will be effective on that day's market close at the day's closing prices. After noon on Friday, effective date will be the following Monday's close.

I spent like an hour there and must have looked over it. I couldn't find anything on Friday...I must have a selective reading disease

    Thanks again.
