    Hi Korn,

I would suggest put it all in L2040 fund until you get a feel for it.

    Welcome Korn,
    Pointers?
Max out your retirement account whenever you can.
Make it automatic so you'll never miss it.
Besides TSP and traditional IRA also look at ROTH IRA.

Welcome. I agree the L2040 is a good place to get started. Put as much as you can in as soon as you can. Early career contributions and thier compounding earnings will out weigh later contributions several times over. To get use to the trading game you could do it make believe for a while to get the feel. You might be able to teach yourself some lessons before actually suffering the pain and reality of making wrong moves.
