Hello everyone
My name is Pat. I have 16 years in the Navy under my belt, with 3-6 years until retirement (undecided). I've only been investing in TSP since May. I've been hesitant about dumping money into TSP for quite a few years (mainly because AD does not get matching contributions), but recently looked into long term returns and liked what I saw. I'm just looking for ways to maintain a respective gain while minimizing loss. Can't do any worse than my other investments. It's either fund managers losing my money or myself. At least I'll learn a little along the way. I'm currently investing in 5%G, 5%F, 30%C, 30%S and 30%I.
