I am new to this site, founded by accident in the web. I am a Federal officer with 7 1/2 years or so to retire, I am not very well educated when it comes to investing in TSP and I need help in order to get the best return out of my investment.
Looking forward to learn from you all!

Welcome Mostro! Found TSP Talk about 6 years before my retirement too. It has made a tremendous difference in my TSP! You will find a lot of good systems and advice. Find one and give it time to work for you. I rely on "Intrepid Timer" and I couldn't be happier with my results! Good luck!!

Welcome Mostro!
I learn a lot from this site as well. I follow the strategy below most of the time with my real TSP account with an average rate of return (ROR) more than 16%. I try to beat the strategy, so my AutoTracker is not the same as the strategy (my real TSP is the same as my AutoTracker for the last couple of month). For several of years, I haven't been active on IFT with AutoTracker. IFT before noon on the day (not trading day) show below. You can test this strategy to see if you like it or not. My friends use it and the ROR is well over 12%. So far this year my ROR on my real TSP is more than 22%. I'm retired two months ago (U50) and partial transferred 2/3 of my TSP to IRA and Roth IRA. Start next year I plan to withdraw $2K per month to cover the different on my salary until my kids out of college (the younger one is in her first year) or until 62 as needed. So far this year I gained several X more than the amount of my planning to withdrawal for next year.
