Default There may be hope after all?

Just how did this clown get this position in the first place? Is it legal to just appoint Czars without Congressional approval?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Presidential adviser Van Jones is resigning after coming under fire for signing a controversial petition regarding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Van Jones speaks during the National Clean Energy Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, in August.

The White House issued a statement late Saturday saying that Jones was giving up his post at the Council on Environmental Quality, where he helped coordinate government agencies focused on delivering millions of green jobs to the ailing U.S. economy.
Jones, who denied agreeing with the petition and issued an apology last week, said he was a victim of health-care reform opponents.
"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in the statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

This was the change promised by the new administration, although the specifics were never provided during the campaign. Some people are only now having buyer's remorse. I often wonder what the voters thought BHO's definition of change was?

    Test question for you.

Who was the first "Czar" in government, a person with significant power and influence, yet not subject to Congressional Confirmation, and what President appointed him?

    And a bonus question-

What did William Simon do before he became the first "Energy Czar?", and for whom did he work?

Answer: He was a WALL STREET INVESTMENT BANKER- working for Salomon Brothers. That company later was bought out by.....Citibank.

    Everything old...is new again.
