I filled up today and paid $1.79/gallon for regular unleaded @ Murphy's (Wal-Mart).

This is a good site to compare with, and locate the lowest price in your area- as long as a volunteer reports it.

Saw $1.79/gallon, but that is for 85 octane. Not sure if they use 85 octane in Colorado because of the elevation, or some other reason.

Was $1.65 when I filled up my bike this evening. Paid $8.74 to fill'er up to the rim from near fumes. That means my per mile cost on this tank will be about 3.6 pennies a mile. (Must say I enjoyed doing the math on this ).

I filled my company 4x4 Suburban with 35 gallons and it cost 2.15 per gallon here in Los Angeles. I put 430 miles on this tank, so the mileage came out to only 12.2 mpg. The same amount of fuel in my Prius would have taken me 1,680 miles! It’s too bad I can’t use the Prius instead of the Suburban!
