Im loving the format. Moderator is calling each of them when they dont answer the question. Both are interacting with each other much higher than in other debates. This is the boxing match that I was looking for.

Observation--first question started with McCain and McCain also had last response. Not sure if the responses are limited by time or response opportunities. Just something Im going to pay attention to throughout.

McCain tries to distance himself from Bush. Obama calls him on it. Great exchange.

Second question--Obama started it and McCain is finishing it again.

The Ayers question is being brought up--indirectly. Asking both about their dirty campaigns. This is great stuff.

The Lewis comment is being taken out of context again. He wasnt associating him with racism. But it was associating him with other politicians that stoked the racism fires. Big difference.

Obama wins the dirty campaign question. McCain addresses it referring to himself and Obama. Obama addresses it with respect to what the populous needs. Big difference.
