How about waste of taxpayer's money passing around and saving heavy breathing tapes rather than looking for Deep Throat? They are saving all of those conversations, talk about making your server farm hot, overloaded, unsortable, and full of junk!

I agree that is a waste of taxpayer's money. But it was individual government employees not doing what they were suppose to do.

If you don't see anything wrong with agents of the federal government, without probable cause, without being supported by Oath or affirmation, searching people's personal phone conversations, then clearly you and I don't see this in the same light. I would say that monitoring a U.S. Colonel, or a "Doctors without Borders" doctor, as he talks with his wife, (or she with her husband), is a violation of the "reasonable" clause of the U.S. Constitution.
