The Dow closes 2008 at 8776.392008 DOW close 8931.50
Gumby wins! Missed by just 155 points
350Z takes 2nd with a guess of 9000, which was off by 224, and Rod's 8100 missed by 676.

Interesting note:
Birchtree's guess of 17963 was off by 9087 points. The two guys (fabijo and peterson82) who guessed "1" were only off by 8775 points.

Birchtree's guess of 17963 was off by 9087 points. The two guys (fabijo and peterson82) who guessed "1" were only off by 8775 points.

I must admit that I had a little help predicting the close of the DOW yesterday from back in October.
Recall from an earlier post by Birch...
Birchtree's prediction of 17863
My prediction of 8,931.50 is exactly one-half of Birchtree's.
