I don’t get it…you post a list of 50 outlooks…promise a rocking open thread for predictions…then tell me of the folly of forecasting?? Are you secretly snickering at all these predictions?

Now's the chance to see how your favorite guru fared in 2010. Even in hindsight, these forecasts all sound like fully hedged psychobabble. Lots of misses in here. I like the one that says "investors too bullish for 2010"

I've been looking for my crappy 2010 predictions. Tom had a post or blog entry where we put our two cents in. I vaguely remember that I predicted the S&P to grow by 3% in a chopy market. Got the chop right - but the second half run blew the prediction up...

Just glad I was wrong
