40 years oldhere, single have a 40 acre farm in Montana paid for and I retire from the navy in 9 years but very new to investing. Like to think high risk is good for my situation. Started the TSP about two years ago. G 10%, F 10%, C 25%, S 30%, I 25%. Great returns so far. I just joined Sharebuilder and bought some stocks.. DPTR (Petroleum) and MSP (Office applications). Both stocks are dumping after all my research. Should I go for a mutual fund instead?

If you've got a 40 acre farm paid for I'd say you are not new to investing at all. You are way ahead of most, myself included.
