Bought AAPL at 352.80.
Apple looks good right here...
LVLT may need a week or so to hit 1.50...
I don't own Apple yet (maybe before the close) and I have an open order in for LVLT near 1.50.

You may be better off shorting anything I say I like. I'm down 1% already.

Mr. Talk, are you looking at these as a short, medium, or long term investment? Do you have price goals for them?
Ok, so I am trying to steal information from you, but I was curious as all my stock trades up to this point have been mainly on "feelings" with no goals (or ignored goals)... haven't done great to this point...

LVLT doesn't look like it's going to fill the gap... thoughts?
Edit: Actually, I noticed that it got down to a close at 1.54 on the 29th... still learning to read the candle charts...

So far I've missed this one, but it does tend to give a lot of "false moves". This could be one.
I can still envision it filling the gap near 1.50 and hitting the 50-day EMA at the same time. If you look at the chart (see 1st post) you'll see that back in November it took over a month to fill the open gap. I hope I doesn't take that long this time, but that would probably the safest place to buy.
Otherwise I will probably wait to see if it can breakout above 1.80.

I go into these trades with the intend of sticking it out for a nice trend trade (maybe weeks to months), as long as the positive trend continues. But I can easily be spooked out quickly if it goes against me right away. I will also take profits if I see them hit resistance.

Looks like LVLT is going to take off without me. I guess I will have to play the breakout in the 1.75 - 1.80 area. 2.10 could be the next target.
Apple has been doing nothing - and this is the one I jumped in that day I started this thread. It does look like it is coiling up for a big move, however. Currently ~ 347.
(fyi, I also own CMG and CAT, which I like, and trading 2 silver ETF's)
