Bought Bank of America at $7/share and sold it for $14/share several months later.
On December 8th I saw DRIV plummet. Looked into the stock and noticed that they had dropped on an extension of Microsoft delay til the 18th of this month. Standard tactic by them apparently. Anyways the stock dropped to $19.37 when I bought 2000 shares. By yesterday it was down to about $16.70 I was getting restless. This morning the stock jumped on news that Microsoft would continue with a new contract with DRIV for the next year. Stock is up at $24.60.
So I dumped it for a total of 9 days in the market and a 21.26% gain. Around $10,500.
I'm pretty happy with myself. Should cover my losses on Groupon and WFM this year.

When my wife first started working for Walmart in 1995 she was buying $1200 a year in WMT stock a year. In 1997 we decided to give her a boost in building the retail portion of her portfolio. She bought 200 shares at $19.20. Through her regular contributions, 15% ESPP and Dividend reinvest it has done well hovering around the 80-85 mark.
Best and quickest- Bought F in 2009 for $4 a share and sold it in 2010 for $17 a share. Used the entire amount and repurchased in 2012 at $10 a share and plan on keeping it long term.
In Dog Beers I've only had two.
Some years back. Twice actually...
Once at the super market.
I was standing over there by the tomatoes
And here he come
Running thru the pole beans, thru the fruits and vegetables
Naked as a jay-bird.
Another time at the gas station.
I was just in there gettin' my tires checked
And he just appeared out of the traffic
Come streakin' around the grease rack there
Didn't have nothing on but a smile
Flashed me right there in front of the shock absorbers
