I am beginning to think that there was a very unfair -FV on Friday.

Folks that sold on Friday lost about 2% on the sale.

Traders might consider the C fund or S fund.

Looking back the last two weeks, it appears that the -FV have been on the large size while the +FV have been very conservative or none at all.

IMO(might just be tinfoil as I don't have proof), this might have to do with Barclays capitalization and very little to do with FV calculations or Barclays guessing. According to TSP.gov, they are suppose to keep a certain amount of reserve to trade shares after hours. It's possible that they are running into liquidity problems with this reserve. We all know that they went to the Arab countries begging for bucks last month.

Can anybody think of another explaination?

I agree that the I fund is to be avoided.

I think I am going to request that this RESERVE be monitored and reported on in the FRTIB minutes. I really think we should know how this money is being maintained.
But you don't understand my point of view...I suppose there's nothing I can do..Did you stand by me?

If Thursday's 2% gain doesn't show up soon, we need to raise hell.

A -FV tonight and tomorrow will make it difficult to track what's missing.
