Thread: Is the I at the bottom?

Hey The Big "G", welcome to the board. I have no idea where we are going could be up could be down, but I think if you look at the channel we are in there is more downside, after we bottom out in the channel it's either way, up or down,,,,,depending.

Hey, well I just heard o the news china expected to be up tonite by 5%, Hong Kong expected to go up also, then China expected to go up by possibly as much as 20% in the near term.....something about lowered the stamp tax....

The I Fund doesn't include the Chinese stock exchange in it's index. And though the Chinese exchange has an affect on the markets around it, well, things seem to be so disjointed that this is not true really.

And expectations and what happens in reality are two different things. It hasn't made the news but the Chinese stocks we're way over valued, like we were back in 2000. P/E's thru the roof and due for a correction. It's been down over 30% this year, a correction it needed. Because of a lowered stamp tax they expect a big rise again? Au contrare my friends... don't be too quick to jump into Chinese stocks unless you do your due diligence. JMTC

Looking at the three month chart I would say some where in the mid to high 21's seems to be where the bottom has been forming. Bad thing was Mar 19th @ 21.41. I had a family medical issue pop up and knew I would be out of the loop for about a week so I used my last transaction to go 100% G and guard further losses while away.

My trip ended up being shorter than expected and I had to sit on the sidelines and watch the fund climb $1.75 a share. I was so sick to my stomach and pizzed at the TSB board for their BS. That would have put me up by a few % for the year.

Oh well, I waited for a pullback into the 22$ range and got back in. I pulled out and went 50/50 G/F @ 23.72. I nice pop for me so cxl'd my order for a case of TUM's I'll wait until next month and look for a spot to jump back in.

I have no clue where it will go. I am expecting it to cycle for the next couple of months. Not sure if its board taboo to push (mention) the premium services but look into them. I bought into one of them last year and it has helped me out quite a bit. Granted I dont follow it 100% of the time but it is a great resource and helps me move to one side or the other when sitting on the fence.
