    ...where she stops nobody knows!

The EAFE was up .041% today, which means the I Fund will go up .01...or will it?

So we'll grant DMA's wish and bet on it. Actually we have already bet on it with our allocation, so for this we'll use something for fun...points! We're all getting taken for a ride, so we might as well have some fun with it.Let's see who ends up with the most points. I'm betting that the average person can't get it right, so all points lost on the bet go to me.

You have until 6:30 pm EST 10 June 2005 to place your bet on the following odds:

I Fund goes up more than .01: 3:1 odds.
    I Fund goes up .01: 15:1 odds.
I Fund goes up less than .01: 5:3 odds.

Enjoy yourselves, because you're paying for it and so am I!

Thanks for the input; I don't mean to steal your thunder, because everyone knows (and appreciates) that you report on the EAFE daily. I just got this idea and couldn't wait. btw how many "points" should I put you down for?

Well let's see... I went from 30% to 15 % in the I yesterday so 15 pts would be about right, right?

Using the TSP formula, that's either 30 or -60 pts, so....:h

    15 it is, then.

I would rather gamble my TSP money on the NAV at the end of the day then putting money into I fund.

Because here is the result I get when I invest:

Even when the index is up. :P Caught a up .833 about a month ago and was down .02 on the day. Talk about a smack in the mug.

Well, it looks like you win tgrmike; there was no increase to the tune of an 8 cent loss!

    tgrmike wins with 20 pts

Tune in next week when I'll be covering for tgrmike as he vacates the premises and we'll go 'Round and 'round in the I Fund again!

    EGAD!!!

Another index up, fund down day.

Rather bet on the net asset value at the end of the day.

Have more of chance of being right.

:PHeck of a rally last night in the internationals and down .08. Hmm?
