Thanks for the health post mlk_man. I've been taking pomegranate (100% juice) religiously for months now. I want to relate something about pomegranate after two weeks of drinking the stuff. I read in a daily newspaper that it increases the blood flow of heart attack victims by 17%. It also said that it takes out the fatty deposits inside neck arteries. That may account for the improved circulation.
Anyways, I haven't been doing chin-ups (I max out at 13-15) lately, so I gave it a try, and was very surprised when I finished with 20 chin-ups. I thought it was a fluke, but got the same result when I tried it again the next day. Maybe they should do a research on athletes to see if they can improve their performance with it. Look ma, no steroids!How about students studying for a test (better blood circulation in the brain = improved memory)?
I'd do the research myself if I can get a government grant.
The two most promising anti-cancer food on the market today are pomegranate and broccoli sprouts. Google the two and start incorporating it in your diet to get a headstart on studies that are bound to come out after two years. They are both quite expensive, but you're worth it.![]()
