I heard on several news networks the same thing..

Each day DC is shut down, $100,000,000 is lost in productivity...Sorry for laughing, but I find that very funny and ironic..

There were people working the streets to try and scoop up the snow that is still all over the back roads-trying to clear some parking spaces too. Only thing I could do was park in their way like everyone else. Kinda feel bad... but I couldn't telecommute another day!

I thought maybe we would save money if no one in the government was working maybe they would not get paid.

At the VA we have to work rain, shine, snow, sleet, hurricane or whatever. Oh, maybe that was the post office. I get so confused. hehe

Right, and not only that, you'd better be up on the forecasts, cuz if it looks like there is chance the weather will keep you at home, you are expected to make early arrangements to not even bother going home - find a vacant room, a motel, a friend &/or a coworker () to put you for the night &/or duration!!

I'm wondering about the hospital employees that got snowed into their work stations !!!
