Follow the columns to the right of the "=" and work down

    First column Fib's
Second column - even number sequence
    Third column - sequential
Last column - reverse of first answer

    10 × 2 = 0218
    20 × 2 = 1421
    30 × 2 = 1632
    40 × 2 = 2840

    10 × 2 = 0218

    20 × 2 = 1421
    30 × 2 = 1632
    40 × 2 = 2840

    Answer: 2840

Add numbers in each column, i.e first column, 0+1+1=2 - Second column double the count 2-4-6-8, Third column, single count, 1-2-3-4, - then take top numbers 0218 reverse them to become 8120, plug them to last column, so now 40x2 = 2840

Phew; Thanks Frixxxx, yours was a quick simpler explanation for kk. Here's one in honor to all your brain teasers\puzzle solvers.

Thank you, Frixxxx and TR. I can see my lack in mathematical problem solving is a result of using "Common KOR Math!"

    What is greater than God,
    more evil than the devil,
    the poor have it,
    the rich need it,
and if you eat it, you'll die?
