Welcome buddy...I used ELP music to test the frequency responses of the speakers I'd build and see if they would reproduce accurately..they had such a wide range of sounds..with the moog and all.

Rick Wakeman and "Yes" might've been another Band you could've (or maybe did !) use !!! I remember lusting after a set of Advent speakers that the guy down the hall in the dorm owned...he'd crank 'em up and rattle the windows in the building...AWESOME sound !!! First thing I did when I graduated and got a job was buy a set of smaller, cheaper Advents...and they still sound good today !!! The later Advents ? Not so much...

"Yes" may be an acquired taste, though... I was gonna post the link to "Close to the Edge", but THAT one is 18 minutes long !!!

Rush, super band; inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame until 2013. Three great musicians. Should've been inducted many years ago. Shame on the selection committee whomever they are. Regardless, they are in. Finally!!!
