Stronger Dollar

This week the dollar has rallied more than 2 percent, as measured by an index of six major currencies on the ICE futures exchange .DXY, and has closed on a daily basis above its 200-day moving average -- a technical signal of a potential turnaround that has not happened since April 2006

I think the stronger dollar is affecting the I fund return potential.

I am thinking of possibly moving some out of "I" to beef up "C" and "S" holdings for the near future. I'm about 30% in "I" now, and may reduce that to below 20% or so, if it looks like the dollar is going to keep going stronger.

I also decided to switch out of the "I" fund earlier in the week. The dollar is trending up which in turn is putting pressure on this fund. With oil going down, I think the dollar may trend up further.
