My thoughts of future market events are strictly my gut feelings and have nothing
to do with actual knowledge or experience concerning the Stock Market or Investing.
But you don't understand my point of view...I suppose there's nothing I can do..Did you stand by me?
It appears that all of the states except California and Michigan have balanced their '09 budgets. So what's the issue
My operation always had a budget shortfall. We always asked for more resources than were available. When we didn't get them, we scaled back our plans.----Jim
Miss Piggy,
Sorry to come on so strong.
I was just glad to see that the states were acting responsively - or at least that's the way I read the article. I didn't think Virginia had a budget problem and was surprised to see the $1.2B gap.-----Jim
I didn't think you came on so strong. I'll always defer to your superior knowledge when it comes to this financial stuff - lol

Yes, Virginia had trouble this year but the bipartisan state legislature/executive was able to scream/yell its way to balance. Property tax revenue was nowhere close to expected. Especialy affected is highway money. Local jurisdictions are very affected by the fallout.
