EIA Petroleum Status Report Economic Calendar - Bloomberg[more]
Released On 4/27/2016 10:30:00 AM For wk4/22, 2016
Prior Actual Crude oil inventories (weekly change) 2.1 M barrels 2.0 M barrels Gasoline (weekly change) -0.1 M barrels 1.6 M barrels Distillates (weekly change) -3.6 M barrels -1.7 M barrels Highlights
Oil inventories continue to build, up 2.0 million barrels in the April 22 week to another record, at 540.6 million. Product inventories are mixed with gasoline up 1.6 million barrels and distillates down 1.7 million. Refinery demand, which fell in the week, contributed to the build in oil as production of both gasoline and distillates declined. Refineries, however, may be boosting gasoline output in coming weeks based at least on the report's demand indications where gasoline is up a year-on-year 5.6 percent which is very strong for this reading. WTI, near $44.25, is down about 50 cents in initial reaction to the report.Definition
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) provides weekly information on petroleum inventories in the U.S., whether produced here or abroad. The level of inventories helps determine prices for petroleum products. Why Investors Care
As is evident from the chart, crude oil stocks can fluctuate dramatically over the year. When oil prices nearly reached $50 per barrel in August 2004, financial market players began to monitor crude oil inventories. It is not surprising to see sharp price hikes in crude oil when inventories are falling. Conversely, one would expect price declines when inventories are rising.

Another Catastrophic Oil Spill Hits Gulf Coast,
Corporate Media Completely Ignores It
I think we should stop drilling for oil everywhere, this is terrible. The Gulf will suck up and neutralize this stuff in a week! 1,000 times this seeps out of the seafloor in the Gulf every day!

Crude Oil Futures bounced up 50 cents this morning on the open, now OVER $50 a barrel.
Better fill the tank before the holiday weekend, cause the price at the pump is going up.
(P.S.- Paid $1.79 for E-85 last night. Love it that I don't need gasoline).
Since when did anyone use gallons instead of barrels to quantify oil?,,Except this idiot who wants to sensationalize it.....This guy is a joke and an exaggerating fool..only 2142 bbls.... a proverbial drop in the ocean you might say..yet this buffoon paints a picture like the end of time is coming because of it..he must be a Bernie Sanders supporter too.
A wise man speaks when he has something to say...A FOOL speaks when he just has to say something
Gasoline around here jumped up to $2.59/gal just in time for the holiday. Thieves.
May the force be with us.
