Another boring day for the indices puts the current streak of the S&P 500 not losing more than 1% in a session at 82 days. The last time we've gone that long was in 1996.
Meanwhile, the Russell 2000 closed lower for the 3rd day in a row while the S&P 500 closed at a 3-day high. Similar circumstances in the past have generally favored the bulls.
