Red face A Few TSPer Stats Based on the AutoTracker

I had a few minutes to do nothing and decided to look at what the YTD averages for TSPers based on the AutoTracker spreadsheet. The data was summarized into Average IFT's, Average Return, and Funds Allocation. It does not include any information from TSP Premier Participants. As of this morning:

    1071 TSP Talk Participants on the AutoTracker (which includes Fund Accounts - G, C, S, F, I, L Funds):
TSPers have averaged 2.83 IFTs per person to this point in the year.
The average gain to this point in the year is 3.96%.
    We are currently invested in TSP as follows: G Fund -35.18%, F-Fund -7.33%, C Fund - 12.04%, S Fund - 29.79%, and I Fund - 10.13%, L Inc - .56%, L2020 - .86%, L2030 - 1.05%, L2040 - 1.18%, L2050 - 1.88% (Totals - 100)

    Top 50 TSPers on AutoTracker:
The Top 50 averaged 7.24 IFTs per person to this point in the year.
The average gain to this point in the year is 10.35%.
    The Top 50 are currently invested in TSP as follows: G Fund -42.6%, F Fund -3%, C Fund -2.7%, S Fund -20.9%, I Fund 27.8%, L Inc - 1%, L2020-L2040 - 0%, L2050 - 2%. (Totals -100)

Median Group (25 participants above and below the #535 on the AutoTracker):
The Median 50 averaged 2.28 IFTs to this point in the year.
The average gain for the Median 50 is 4.20% (slightly above the mean)
    The Median 50 are currently invested in TSP as follows: G Fund - 20.22%, F Fund - 6.76%, C Fund - 21.84%, S Fund - 25.32%, I Fund - 12.66%, L inc - 0%, L2020 - .5%, L2030 - 12.3%, L2040 - 1.7%, L2050 - .7% (Totals - 102)

Just a note: The totals for Median 50 Invested came out to 102, not 100. No idea why. I ran the numbers twice after copying them from the AutoTracker. But I'm pretty certain the error is in my spreadsheet. I'll look for it tomorrow or Wednesday when I do this again out interest. It doesn't make much difference in the averages for the Median 50 but I'll look at it again.

I enjoy getting a sense of the TSP environment and while this is hardly definitive, it is interesting.

At the rate things are going currently, I might stand a chance of catching up with Birchie this year.
