    Has anybody got the latest on how much our increase (if any) will be this January?

    I think the president's distribution and executive order have yet to be completed....The best you could get would be an estimate around th 3.9% increase. Until Bush finishes all his pardon paperwork, we are in limbo.

    STATUS OF 2009 PAY ADJUSTMENTS

    Congress passed and the President signed legislation providing a 3.9 percent overall average pay increase for General Schedule employees in 2009. However, the statute authorizes the President to allocate the overall increase between an across-the-board increase and locality payments that vary by locality. OPM will publish pay tables for 2009 on its website as soon as possible after the President issues an Executive Order allocating the overall increase between an across-the-board increase and locality pay and establishes locality pay rates for 2009.
