Thread: Throw it all in the c fund?

    I am new to this forum and have the most basic question....with 10yrs to retire, and give historical performance, why shouldn't I maximizedeductions and put everything in the c fund....

    Welcome any/all advise...

    Welcome Jack. With 10 years to go I would get aggressive but a lot depends on your investment strategy and goals. You cam use the S and I to get even more aggressive. If you plan to buy and hold (stick with an allocation for a long period of time) get yourself more diversified so you can withstand some swings. Most of us here try to take advantage of the current trend and get very aggressive or very conservative depending on what is currently happening in the market.
