I'll start down 12k for the week in the TSP.

OUCH, I need to make you a drink to take the edge off of the sting.

I'm proud to say around $22.6K was my pain level - it's worse than that from the October 9th highs. But I did collect a sweet C fund DCA. To me this amount is totally tolerable. Hit me with your best shot, fire away.

I actually gained this week. (Been sitting in G all week long. )

A hard drink is definitely warranted.

Now I don't feel so bad. I'm only down 9.5K, and I was in G two days this week.

I think I'm up about 0.25% for the week. That should be about $1,800.

Ouch! Well, not including today, I've only lost about $1200 this week--more a matter of dumb luck than anything else. I'm currently sitting at 75% G, 25% I.

Have you ever rode a 400 point up day - I have on several occasions. I think there is something big getting ready to happen with all this gloom and doom around - it'll be totally unexpected if we accelerate upwards. Somebody will leak something on the weekend talk shows about supporting the dollar and away we go.

A guy was feeling depressed over the drop in the market, so he called the mental health help line. Like all other call centers, it has been out- sourced to a third world location.

When he told the operator in Pakistan that he was feeling suicidal, the operator got very excited and wanted to know if he could drive a truck or fly a plane.
