Thread: No Surprise. Fed raises 1/4 point.

    So far, the market seems to like the 1/4 point raise and whatever Greenspan said afterwards. As I've mentioned before, I don't always trust the first move made after a rate change. Tomorrow's actionwill be more telling.

    I've been 100% S since yesterday, and the gains have been nice.

    I will stay 100% S. Once again, that beta 3 personality coming out in me.

    Ahhhh... it was another nice day for S Fund gains. Up 10 cents per share.

    I gained about $60.00 these past two days. Not too shabby.

    Below Beta 1- below average risk

    Beta 1- average risk

    Beta 2- twice average risk

    Beta 3- 3x average risk

    Beta 4- 4x average risk

    Find your stock, then scroll down and look at its market risk under "Beta":
