Hi neighbor!

You can find monthly returns for all of the funds except G on the web.

F - Lehman Brothers U.S. aggregate
C - S&P 500
S - Wilshire 4500
I - MS EAFE

I've seen monthly data for each. I've just never copied it into a spreadsheet.

Does anyone have the Daily January 8-12 2001 and Daily January 7-11 2002 daily return rates for the C, S, & I Funds? My excels only go back to 2003.

You may have to cut and paste that link into a browser otherwise it may just take you to the tsp.gov home page.

Tom the URL address you provide works for me. This shows monthly TSP fund returns for each year 1988 to 2004. They are located by year above the "10 Year Summary of TSP Summary of Annual Returns"

Of course the monthly returns for S and I Funds did not exits until 2001.

thanks everybody... i guess i will use bigcharts and cross verify from there...
i was just trying to figure from history what times (months) would be better to be in or out of certain areas
i c there are quite a few VA people on here... keep up the good work tsptalk...

in the colored area to the right click on "index return calculator"

Prepare to be swamped with a single column of numbers.

I had trouble getting this into a spreadsheet and separating into three separate columns for date, change, and closing value. I finally pasted it into word, used the change text to table feature, then copying the table into excel. If there is a better way to get a comma delimited file into excel and directly separating the columns, let me know
